Topical anesthetics: We compound a triple anesthetic cream with permeation enhancers to provide anesthesia in as little as 20 minutes. This formulation is commonly used before laser and cosmetic procedures. Dosage forms: We can make creams, ointments, gels, foams, shampoos, lotions, powders, solutions, nail paints etc. Antiaging: The treatment of the skin to prevent and reverse aging is very effective when the right combination of ingredients and strengths are used. Department store skin care products as well as professional lines used by estheticians list the ingredients, but seldom list the concentration of active ingredients. By law, these products are only required to be safe and do not have to prove effectiveness. Our compounding pharmacy can take these formulas and increase the concentration of active ingredients to enhance the effectiveness, or make a new formulation from scratch. Discontinued or Backordered products: We can compound products that are not currently commercially available such as Zonalon® cream or Sulfacet-R®. Allergies: If you have specific allergies, we can formulate a product that meets your needs, while avoiding certain allergens. Ingredients not found in most pharmacies: We have a long list of active ingredients that we use in our formulation, such as, Niacinamide, Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate (more stable form of Azelaic acid), EGCG (green tea), kojic acid, spironolactone topically), Alpha lipoic acid, Vitamin B12 (topically for atopic dermatitis), Estriol, Idebenone, Biopeptides, DMAE, CoQ10… etc. Rosacea, Melasma (brown spots), Fungal nail infections: If you are not satisfied with your current treatment, we may be able to suggest some alternatives.
